Diddy’s Son Justin Visits Him in Prison on Christmas for Emotional Heart-to-Heart
Diddy, Sean Combs - P Diddy - Justin Combs - Sean “Diddy” Combs’s son Justin Combs visited the disgraced music mogul in prison on Christmas Day.
Justin, 31, visited Combs at Fort Dix Prison in New Jersey on Thursday, Dec. 25, Combs’s rep, Juda Engelmayer, told PEOPLE in a statement. The visit was first reported by TMZ.
“Justin visited him yesterday,” Engelmayer said. “They talked and caught up on life with each other. They talked about dealing with the hard times now and reflecting on the past and learning from it and how to do better in the future.”
According to Engelmayer, Justin spent about 90 minutes with his father.
"It meant a great deal [to Diddy], particularly on Christmas, to have family close," Engelmayer said.

Combs, 56, was convicted on two prostitution-related charges in July. In October, he was sentenced to 50 months in jail, and is scheduled to serve about three years. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate records viewed by PEOPLE in November, his release date is now June 4, 2028.
Six of Combs’s children attended his sentencing hearing, including Justin, whom he shares with stylist Misa Hylton. In his statement to the court, Justin asked that his father be given a “second chance,” CNN reports.
“A second chance at life, a second chance to right his wrongs, a second chance to be the man he truly is,” Justin said, adding that his father is a “superhero” who has “changed for the better.”
“Your honor, I believe my father still has so much more to give the world and, more importantly, so much more to give his children,” Justin told the judge.

Combs began serving his sentence at Fort Dix on Oct. 30 and has been behind bars since he was indicted by a grand jury on sex trafficking and racketeering charges in September 2024. The Bad Boy Records founder, who was acquitted of the most serious charges he faced, was denied bail before his trial and after his conviction.
There had been reports of Combs violating jail rules in November, claims his representatives deny. On Nov. 7, TMZ reported that he was allegedly caught drinking homemade alcohol. Three days later, CBS News, citing prison documents, reported that Combs allegedly violated another rule by making a three-way call from prison.
“He is in the drug treatment program and he is working in the chapel library," Engelmayer told PEOPLE. "The phone call he was on was initiated by an attorney and it was attorney client privilege and appropriate.”
